CustomVue® Wavefront Technology

Spindel Eye Associates is proud to offer the CustomVue® Wavefront Technology from (AMO) American Medical Optics.

Blade-FREE LASIK - Zeimer ZLASIK New Hampshire

In order to provide the safest, most precise LASIK eye surgery procedure in New Hampshire, Spindel Eye Associates now uses the femtosecond laser known as Zeimer.

OPTOMAP

Spindel Eye Associates is also VERY proud to offer the OptoMap System. This system for retinal exams actually analyzes the entire retina with no need to dilate the patient’s eye. If you have ever been dilated I am sure you realize how disturbing this can be. The diagnosis done with this device is primarily for the detection and management of different eye diseases. Furthermore, the technology behind this equipment is quite fascinating and involves the latest in scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) technology. The Optomap uses low-powered red and green laser beams to capture an image of virtually the entire retina. This image provides a permanent digital record of an individual's eye health and also provides our doctors with an ultra-widefield view of the retina. We feel this is a great new diagnostic device that provides valuable information to our practice and benefits to patients by saving time and minimizing patient discomfort.

The NIDEK OPD-Scan II

The NIDEK OPD-Scan II is a valuable tool used in determining the candidacy of LASIK patients at Spindel Eye Associates. Not every LASIK doctor will go to this level of sophistication to determine candidacy. By analyzing the eye to this level we implement an element of safety that is simply un-matched. This new diagnostic device provides information on corneal topography, wavefront, autorefraction, keratometry and pupillometry. It utilizes advanced imaging and analysis technology developed specifically to measure normal to highly aberrated eyes. The end result allows highly accurate and reliable information for optic diagnostics and helps the doctors at the practice to make safe decisions about vision correction.
