"Since having PRK done 2 years ago I have not needed glasses. I love the freedom of not having to wear any. It's great to relax on the couch and not have to worry about breaking my glasses. I no longer get reflections when driving at night. My husband loves that I don't wake him up to read the time on the alarm clock for me anymore. It's great in the summer when kayaking – my glasses were always wet and smudged, but now I don't worry about that. It is so much more comfortable wearing a helmet on my ATV or on motorcycle because I don't have to have glasses on my face. I also get the luxury of wearing fantastic sunglasses that I couldn't wear before because of my high prescription. And I also like myself in photographs because I don't have to wear glasses anymore!!"

Cataract Surgery

"Since having cataract surgery, I no longer have to wear glasses to drive or to see far away. I had to wear glasses all the time prior to the surgery. I now only have to wear glasses for the computer and to read small print. My night driving was so terrible prior to the surgery because of the difficulty with headlight glare.
